La Tisseuse

2025 · Collective installation . Paris 2025

Collective installation exploring feminine pain and the use of textile as an act of resilience. The process is conceived as part of the work: the moment in which the body becomes writing, a fragment of shared history. The spider figure serves as a metaphor for women — weaving their own web and protecting themselves from pain.

Sewing and textile arts become acts of repair: mending what has been broken, adapting to change, transforming existing forms, and creating something new.

These practices also connect women to one another, strengthening them through community. A way to regain control, to be a weaver when everything burns around you.
